Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise arrived today from GAME so I thought I would try out the Piñata Vision feature with the card supplied in the game box.
The card itself is double sided, and has a barcode similar to a QR code running vertically down one length. The feature isn’t available straight away in game – I think it becomes available around level four.
The process is pretty straight forward; firstly you need to adjust the focus of the Vision Camera so it is fully turned anti-clockwise. Hold up the card to the Vision Camera, and after a couple of seconds a window will appear on the right hand side of the screen. In this window will be the current view from the Vision Camera, an outline will be drawn round the card. It can take a couple of goes to adjust how far away the card is to ensure it is completely viewable within the window.
Once it has been read you then get credited with whatever is on the card. On mine were some chocolate coins, and on the other side a Fox with a bin lid for a hat…
Over at www.vivapinata.com if you sign in with your LIVE ID, it’s possible to check any stats and download any pictures you have uploaded from the in game camera. Here is one I prepared earlier:

I didn’t receive the 10 bonus Piñata cardsfrom GAME that were mentioned on the pre-order, and according to a thread over at www.xbox360achievements.org, other people haven’t either.
Did anyone else get them in the UK?
EDIT: Looks like there is a page in the manual (page 16) that could be scanned also, haven’t had a chance to try it yet though.
