Who needs gameplay when you have ACHIEVEMENTS? Don’t worry about beating levels, finding ways to kill enemies, or beating the final boss… there are none. Focus solely on your ultimate destiny… doing random tasks that have nothing to do with anything. Metagame yourself with ease! Self-satisfaction never felt so… artificial!
So another year of the l337sheet draws to a close. What did we all achieve? Well along with the normal weekly gamerscores for 19/12/2008 that can be grabbed here, I also put together special 2008 year end edition. How much gamerscore did you amass this year? Remember a couple of easy ways to keep up to date with scores and stuff is via the RSS feed which updates automatically as new posts as they appear, and via the Twitter which I update now and then. Get signed up.

Its a said day. I’m currently packing up my 360 which RROD’d the other night. UPS are going to pick it up today, where it will join the other fallen at the Microsoft Europe Repair Center, Frankfurt, Germany.
A sad day indeed
