Joypod Casualty! – Thursday 12th of March

This week the team discussed gaming injury’s and the gaming BAFTAS as well as the usual off theĀ  wall callers!

I managed to get a twitter in on the show last night, a story about a friend of mine who back in the days when the Trocadero was good, passed out after a 8 player Daytona session, smashing his head on a Mortal Kombat II cabinet during the fall. An ambulance and a day in hospital followed, LOL!

Shepperton has gained the most gamerscore this week (Ia thanka ya), with a 1180 increase since the last update on the 20th of February.

Planets have literally collided this week. Not only are there two 70K plus players, but there is a new leader! Shepperton takes the lead, knocking Ganbare Goemon of the top spot, the first time since Friday 22nd of December 2006. That was before this site even existed, and back in the days when the l337sheet was literally a sheet passed around Eidos towers.
