Game Completed – Interpol – Xbox 360

I managed to grab a FREE copy of Interpol via redeem code from Aceybongos Twitter last week. AceyBongos is the Community Manager for Xbox EMEA and has been posting some redeem codes recently (just missed out on a Halo Wars early demo invite demo the other day) and I happened to be on Twitter at the time (thanks to Twitterfox) and manged to grab a Interpol code. So cheers AceyBongos! )

Anyway after a couple of sessions I manged to finish it , and bag 150/200 achievement points on the way. The remaining 50 may be a bit more tricky…

Game Completed – DORITOS Dash of Destruction – Xbox 360

After getting the Xbox back, I thought I would checkout the Marketplace to see what I had missed out on in the last couple of weeks. Apart from the normal trailers, gamerpics and themes I spotted  DORITOS Dash of Destruction – particularly as it is a FREE Xbox arcade title.

Developed by NinjaBee (developers of Cloning Clyde, Outpost Kaloki X,  A Kingdom for Keflings, Band of Bugs, and Boingz for the Wii via WiiWare) DORITOS Dash of Destruction is described as:

fun and fast-paced racing game. Blast your way through cities as a hungry Tyrannosaurus Rex, as you chase a speeding Delivery Truck full of tasty Doritos. Or, try zooming in and out of the T-Rex’s path of destruction as the speedy Delivery Truck in search of your Doritos drop-off points.

Anyway a free game is a free game, so I thought I would give it a quick spin. 15 minutes later and I was finished, first game of 2009 completed and 200 gamerscore richer, easy achievements, nice :) Its a fun little game and worth a download.

Free De Niro and Pacino Gamerpics!

Yep, got myself a free Robert De Niro Gamerpic from the US Xbox LIVE Marketplace last night, check it out over on the right. Along with an Al Pacino Gamerpic, there’s also a free theme to download to promote their new movie: Righteous Kill.

10 Free Pinata Cards

Just got an email from GAME about the 10 free Pinta cards that were mentioned during pre-order. Instead of sending out actual real cards, they have provided a link that you can download them from.

The email suggests downloading the JPEG’s and printing them off before scanning them in with the Vision Camera, but you don’t have to bother, I’ve just tried scanning them direct from the PC screen and can confirm this works fine.

The free cards include: Bee, Rabbit, Beaver, Pony, Armadillo, Yak, Poison Frog, Turtle, Boomslang and Raccon.

So pre-ordered or not, enjoy your free Viva Pinata cards :)
