Additional Marketplace content information added to the XboxLiveDLC twitter

I noticed via Major Nelson’s Twitter yesterday that there is a now a Marketplace blog (in beta) that posts every piece of new content that appears on Xbox Live Marketplace. This includes all Xbox Live regions and ALL content (Arcade games, Films, Trailers, Themes, Gamerpics, Demos, Movies etc)

Ive updated the RSS that feeds XboxLiveDLC twitter to include this content, and using Yahoo Pipes Ive filtered out only the Gamerpics, Themes, Developer Diary’s and Trailers. Other DLC such as games, demos, map packs and add-ons will be provided by the original feed.

The Marketplace blog updates every 15 minutes, and XboxLiveDLC grabs and tweets info from via Twitterfeed every 30 minutes.

So get XboxLiveDLC added, and be in the know, on the go! (well, via your preferred Twitter client)

Xbox Live Marketplace twitter for downloadable content

Ive set up a new twitter called XboxLiveDLC, which grabs the marketplace RSS feed from Major Nelson’s blog. It will tweet the downloadable content, price and any other info that fits in 140 character limit along with a link to the relevant article on Major Nelson, as new content appears.

Its automatic, and appears to be working so far, currently its  grabbed the info on the Fable 2 Knothole Island DLC which released yesterday.
